As a tourist, we didn’t plan to eat here for dinner but we found ourselves in the rain and desperate for dinner. We ducked into the little unassuming spot and were happy with the quality of the fish. No frills but reasonably priced. The miso soup was perfect in rainy weather.
Yummy sushi! Good value lunch special (Miso Lunch) which gets you two, six-piece rolls (list given) with delicious miso soup or salad. You can save 10% by paying with cash! The hostess/front staff person did not seem so welcoming—it’s okay, but a friendly smile goes a mile.
This is my local go to, it’s nothing fancy just really good quality, prepared fresh, sashimi and rolls at really reasonable prices. I admit I don’t come for the deep fried food - for that I got to a ramen spot. The tempura roll & salmon sashimi are my favourite.

This restaurant is the best Japanese restaurant in literally all of NYC! Me and my family have been coming here for over 3 years and always look forward to the next time we come. I dream about this place . The food is so good, the service is top tier, they let you take your time eating, no interruptions, and the atmosphere is so calm and traditional . If you come here, you won't be disappointed.

Everything was cleanly cut, well-balanced, and made with care. If you’re craving sushi on a budget but still want something that respects the craft—this is the move. Will I be back? 100%. Such a good value sushi place if you need a quick fix. The lunch and dinner sets are under 30 and the rolls themselves are packed with a generous portion of fish with a minimal amount of rice. Highly recommend for a casual sushi/roll spot!
This place is quiet and beautiful. Staff are absolutely amazing, and the food is beyond any rating I can think of. I highly recommend the dancing dragon roll. Overall 10000/10!
